Addheat Midlands History

We are Addheat Midlands, a Tool Hire & Sales Company based in Bridgnorth, Shropshire.  A family run business established by Michael Wainwright in 1968, which has been serving the Bridgnorth community and surrounding area ever since.

Originally operating from an office in Railway Street and a rented unit in Station Lane near the town’s Severn Valley Railway, specialising in the manufacture, sales and repairs of Mobile Space Heaters, now trading for many years from Malthouse Works, Bandon Lane.

Always with many tools and equipment to hand, Michael was often asked by friends and customers alike if he could lend out tools, usually for a short period of time. Always happy to oblige, this became more and more frequent, so much so that he came upon the idea of expanding into tool hire, taking the business in a slightly different direction and sought to stock up on tools and more stock, registering the business as a Tool Hire Company.

Over the years our stock has expanded vastly from hand tools to all sorts of D.I.Y, home and trade needs. From cordless drills and carpet cleaning to scaffolding towers, gardening and land equipment.

We also offer a wide range of building equipment such as concrete mixers, concrete cutting machines, vibrating plates, cut-off saws and various types and sizes of concrete breakers to name but a few. With a huge selection of the best quality products at affordable prices for both hire and sale, we at Addheat Midlands are at your service.
